Elevator only. Great lunch. Skip the breakfast.
Centurion Lounge at Dallas Fort Worth Airport lounge guide
The Centurion Lounge at DFW is one of the better Amex properties in the US — elevator-only access from Terminal D, friendly staff at the front desk, and a long linear layout that
flows from a wine and champagne station past a sprawling food bar and full bar, ending in quieter seating in the back.
Lunch is the move here — the chicken options were solid and the full buffet puts it well above most Priority Pass lounges. Breakfast juices were good; everything else at breakfast, less so.
Power outlets in the back seating are scarce. Ask about spa availability the moment you check in or you’ll miss it.

Location
The Centurion Lounge at DFW is in Terminal D, across from Gate D12, on the mezzanine level. Elevator access only — no stairs. If you're coming from another terminal, take the Skylink train to Terminal D, then look for the elevator up to the lounge level.
Review & Overall Experience
Overall Rating: 7 / 10
Anecdotal Thoughts: Long, narrow layout that makes it feel busier than it probably is. Front desk staff were genuinely warm. Food is the main event, particularly at lunch. Breakfast juices were solid; everything else at breakfast, less so. The seating in the back is the most comfortable but the least wired — plan accordingly if you need to work.
Ambiance: Modern and functional. The overlook near the entrance — above the arrivals check-in area — is a nice spot before you hit the food.
Cleanliness: Well-maintained.
Service: Friendly and attentive. Ask about spa availability when you check in or you'll miss the window entirely.
Comfort: Good seating toward the back, but power outlets are sparse. Chairs near the food and bar are fine for a drink, not for a long sit.
Crowding Level: Can reach capacity. If you have less than two hours before your flight, it might not be worth the wait.

Food & Drink
Food: Full buffet along the left side of the lounge. Lunch is the move — chicken options were solid. Breakfast is serviceable but not a reason to come early; the juices were the best part.
Drinks: Wine, beer, and champagne station near the entrance on the right. Full bar further back on the left. All complimentary.
Bar quality: Solid free bar with real cocktail options. The champagne near the entrance is a nice touch before you even hit the food line.
How to Get Into This Lounge for Free
The easiest way in without an Amex card is Priority Pass — a membership program that gets you into 1,300+ airport lounges worldwide, including many that don't require a specific airline or credit card. You don't need to be flying business class. You don't need a specific airline. You just need the membership.
The best way to get Priority Pass for free is through a travel credit card that includes it as a benefit — cards like the Chase Sapphire Reserve, the Amex Platinum, or the Capital One Venture X all include Priority Pass membership. If you're already paying an annual fee on one of those cards, lounge access is essentially free every time you travel.
