User-Centered Content

Photography & Videography

Hi, I’m Courtney—and I tell stories through the lens.

I’m a photographer and videographer who creates scroll-stopping visuals that feel real, intentional, and high-end – whether they’re shot in my home or halfway across the world. I’ve worked with global brands like adidas and small businesses like my own boutique, Mona Monet, but the common thread is always the same: visuals that connect.

My style is cinematic, editorial, and deeply human. I capture texture, emotion, and movement – whether that’s the swirl of a cocktail, the feeling of a perfect hotel bed, or the confidence in a model’s stride. I don’t just shoot pretty things – I create scenes that make people feel something.

My process is streamlined and collaborative, whether you need a full-day shoot or fast content with a DIY feel. I specialize in food, lifestyle, travel, and product photography, with a focus on natural light, minimal staging, and scenes that breathe.

My photographic style

My photography style is bold, polished, and story-driven. I have a strong sense of composition and lighting, and I’m drawn to moments that feel effortless but intentional—images that look like memories and campaigns at the same time.

That said, my real strength lies in my adaptability. Whether I’m shooting portraits in natural light, a brand event in a dark venue, or engagement photos at golden hour, I know how to dial into the client’s vision and deliver images that feel like them. My background in both content creation and brand strategy means I’m always thinking about how the final images will be used – on a website, in a pitch deck, across social, or blown up on a billboard.

The San Francisco Giants, Tishman Speyer, and the Port of San Franciso featured my photography in their press release for retailer Quik Dog’s announcement as part of the Mission Rock project, due to open in 2024.

During the social media launch of this press release, reporters from the San Francisco chronicle found out about the partnership and broke the story through one of my Instagram Reels.

My videography style

My videography style is fast-paced, visceral, and emotionally intelligent. I shoot and edit with rhythm – balancing motion, sound design, and storytelling to keep people watching. Whether it’s a neighborhood spot, a hotel in the jungle, or a bottle of wine on a kitchen counter, I make things feel like something you want to be a part of.

Most of my work lives on Reels or TikTok, so I understand short-form better than most. I know how to craft a hook, build momentum, and land the payoff – all while making sure your brand’s voice stays front and center.

But I’m flexible and adaptable. I’ve filmed and edited everything from dreamy destination travel pieces to raw, handheld event coverage to B2B explainer videos. I tailor each project to the format, the platform, and most importantly, your audience.

Services

I go where I need to go to shoot on-site, or in the case of UGC-style ads I often use myself, friends, and family as models easiest and inexpensive results.  When we want to scale, I tap into my teams in California and Medellin, Colombia. Regardless of how we do it, these are the types of results you can expect (non-exhaustive):

→  Video: Lifestyle, commercial or TikTok-style, short-form branded video, event highlight reels, travel & hospitality content (hotels, experiences, restaurants), B2B storytelling (social cuts, interviews, case studies), UGC-style ads

→  Still life Images: Lifestyle, portraits, B2B events, product photography, events, engagement shoots, travel & hospitality (destination storytelling, boutique hotels, restaurants, and resorts)

→  Writing: Concepting, scriptwriting (co-writing or solo) & storyboarding, copywriting, press release, reporting
